The Shadow of Glory

This year we will be exploring the book of Exodus and its foreshadowing of the ultimate revelation in Jesus Christ.

Speaker:

Rev. Andrew Reid

Andrew is married to Heather and they have two married sons and a couple of grandsons. Andrew is the lead pastor at Holy Trinity Doncaster and prior to that lectured at Ridley Melbourne in Old Testament and biblical interpretation. He has worked in IT while church planting in Perth, been the National Director of the AFES and written a number of books on the Old Testament, biblical interpretation, and apologetics. He has a passionate interest in preaching from the Bible (particularly the Old Testament) and helping people understand the Old Testament as Christian Scripture.
Andrew and Heather love bushwalking, trekking, and camping. Andrew relaxes by walking their two kelpies and watching quirky British detective series on television.

Strands:

Note that enrollment in a strand requires prior completion of the preceding strands (does not include High School strand)

• Strand 1: Reading the Bible (English*) – fundamentals of reading and teaching the Bible
• Strand 2: Biblical Theology (English*) – understanding context in the progression through Old and New Testament
• Strand 3: Systematic Theology – formulating coherent accounts of aspects of Christianity from the Bible
• Strand 4: Ethics – defining concepts of right and wrong behaviour from a Christian perspective
• Strand A: High School

*Mandarin will be made available subject to registration numbers.
