Theme:

Receiving God’s Words

This year we will be exploring how to receive the Bible as God’s words, and how to respond with faith and obedience. How do we understand the Bible, and how do we explain it to others.

Speaker:

Dr. Peter Adam

Peter is the Principal of Ridley Melbourne, training men and women for ministry. He served as Minister of St Jude’s Carlton for 20 years, and as Chaplain of Melbourne University. He also speaks at conferences training preachers, and at AFES events. He has written ‘The Majestic Son: a commentary on Hebrews’, ‘Speaking God’s words: a practical theology of preaching’, ‘Hearing God’s words: Biblical Spirituality’, and ‘Written for us: receiving God’s words in the Bible.’ He plays the piano, walks his dogs, enjoys reading history and fiction, and is very happy when beside or in the ocean. (more…)
